Consultation & Quote

A consultation will take place at our studio, in your home or via email or telephone. We will need the measurements and an idea of what you would like for your commission or repair. For new commissions, we will discuss the design, complexity, and colours.  Factors such as, Triple-glazing and installation will also be decided. To repair, restore and resize we will require measurements and the level of repair/work required. Pricing is determined by the complexity of design, the glass type and dimensions. Following this we will present you with a quote.

Design

Upon the confirmation of the quote, we move onto the designing process. At this stage, we will come up with a suggested design, as well as colours and textures of the glass, we can go back and forth until we find the right design for you.

Build

Usually, we allow 4-8 weeks of building from the confirmation of the design, though this can take less time, depending on the level of work on at the time. However, we will always agree this with you before the building process begins.

Triple-Glazing

Stained glass panels can be encased into a unit to fit modern doors and windows, at an additional cost. We have a local glazier who specialises in this. This would extend the time for completion by about one or two weeks.

Installation

If required, we have our own professional installer. He will contact you to arrange removal of old panels and the installation of the new panels at a convenient time for you. This is also an additional cost.

Repairs & Restoration

We can repair, resize and restore existing panels, the cost of this will also depend on the damage and complexity of the work. If there is a small broken piece of glass in a panel, we can sometimes repair this without removing the panels.  If you have an old panel, once it is taken completely apart, re-leaded and cemented, it will be a strong as it was when it was first built.
